There is one online bingo site known by the name Bucky Bingo that is run by the Buckingham Bingo so I was shocked to read today a report in The Telegraph “Buckingham Bingo losses grow”. Now we all know that the double taxation levied against bingo has had a really adverse affect on land based bingo halls and it would appear this continues. Buckingham Bingo operate 12 land based bingo halls throughout the UK and are now back in talks with the banks.

April last year saw the owners of Buckingham Bingo, Alchemy, in essence write off its huge stake in the group worth a staggering £76.7 million which meant the control was passed to Barclays who in turn waved £14.1 million of the outstanding debt.
I’m not a big financial whiz and I don’t really understand a lot of the stuff in the article from The Telegraph other than I’m glad I don’t owe that much money. All is not lost though because although the management of Buckingham Bingo refused to comment Barclays had this to say “We remain supportive and will continue to remain supportive”.
Maybe the management of Buckingham Bingo should start using Ukash bingo vouchers rather than loans?
You can play online at Bucky Bingo just by clicking the banner above and although the land based business seems to be having a bit of a financial nightmare, the online bingo site seems to be booming! Have you seen the Bucky Bingo television adverts?
